What is HYROX?

HYROX is a global fitness competition combining functional training, running, and high-intensity exercises. Each race consists of 8- 1km runs with a functional training exercise in between each run. Totalling 8kms of running and 8 stations completed as following: 1km SkiERG, 50m Sled Push, 50m Sled Pull, 80m Burpee Broad Jumps, 1km RowERG, 200m KB Farmer's Carry, 100m Sandbag Lunges, 100 reps of Wall Balls.

Do I need to be an experienced athlete to join the HY-Rollers HYROX Club?

Absolutely not! Our club caters to all fitness levels, from beginners to seasoned athletes. Whether you plan on competing in a HYROX event or are just looking for a safe way to improve your strength and endurance, the HY-Rollers Club has been built with the normal Life Athlete in mind!

What can I expect from a typical training session?

Each session involves strength training, cardio, and functional movements tailored to HYROX competition preparation. All exercises are curated to be as safe as possible for the lower back and overall injury prevention. Strength exercises focus on Bilateral movements (one side of the body at a time) to simulate our everyday lives and improve both performance and longevity.

How often are Team Fitness classes held?

Team classes are held once a week on the same day and time for convenient scheduling and accountability to your teammates! Just like registering for a Softball team, you will receive your schedule for the Team slot you choose and will be asked to follow it! Pop-up and speciality classes will also be held throughout the month for Team Members to attend!

What results can I expect from joining HY-Rollers HYROX Club?

From the performance side of things you can expect: improved stamina, strength, mental toughness, and confidence, along with detailed preparation for HYROX competitions. And from a life perspective you can expect: better sleep and digestion, body recomposition, greater longevity, increased metabolism, and overall optimal cellular function!

Are there bespoke membership packages available, and what could they include?

Yes, we offer various packages that include personal training, doubles training and relay team training sessions. Along with personalized competition prep for HYROX events and increased nutritional guidance based on individual bloodwork and hormone deficiencies.
